Axis Packaging has designed, and can manufacture, a large range of livestock pens structurally engineered and certified to LiveCorp and IATA standards. By working with industry accredited engineers, and using a combination of pine and panel products, our pens will suit any airline pallet including PMC’s and PLB’s and can be manufactured to suit any specific aircraft configuration.
Axis Packaging’s livestock pens are available in single, double and three tier configurations and can also be designed to allow the detachment of each tier for multiple deliveries from your destination, or re-configured to suit the requirements of your next carrier.
With a number of superior design features including horizontal sliding doors, contoured roofs and specialised forklift pockets, Axis Packaging’s livestock pens have become an industry standard in Western Australia. Axis Packaging have pioneered new designs eradicating many out-dated industry practices such as wire roofs, which were a hazard for animals with horns and also vertical doors which had a guillotine effect.
Axis Packaging also utilise products such as “Skymat” which provides a non-toxic absorbent floor improving sanitation and comfort during transit. The Skymat also provides a superior barrier between the pen and the airlines hold protecting the aircraft from the corrosive effect of animal urine.
