Pelican were challenged with developing a custom size case for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) in small quantities and without machining a new mould. Pelican were also required to develop a custom mounting system to the clients specifications.
Pelican met this challenge with a Pelican-Hardigg cut and weld case. As the case system created was for an underwater vehicle, it was not required to keep water out, but instead to protect the AUV from shock/impact and featured a unique drain system to allow cleaning and flushing of the AUV.
