Crates – are best suited for large items or products that require inspection access or air flow.  Most commonly used for airfreight for it’s lighter weight or for domestic transport.  Crates can also come with a solid base for heavier items.

Cases – are ideal for multiple smaller items or products that require the security of being totally enclosed.  Cases are stronger than a crate and are the perfect choice when accessories need to be added such as linings, hardware, stencils etc.  A pine timber case is generally more cost effective than a Ply or MDF case.
